Urs Berger and Hans De Vriese
impulzity Board

impulzity, a Swiss EdTech company that developed the global first fully digital and integrated Team Dynamics and People Leadership system, continues to rely on its existing Board of Directors at the strategic level. Hans De Vriese, Senior Vice President Group Finance at A.P. Moller-Maersk, and former Mobiliar CEO and Chairman Urs Berger along with Eric Kuenzi and Peter Reichenstein as Chairman of the Board of Directors, were confirmed by the Annual General Meeting.

Urs Berger needs no further introduction in Switzerland; he has been too influential in shaping the external image of the Swiss economy over the past decades, most recently as Chairman of Mobiliar Insurance. Today, the former top handball player is active in Switzerland and abroad as a member of the board of directors and bank council. These include Ringier Group, Gothaer Finanzholding AG and Basler Kantonalbank, among others.

«Throughout my career in the insurance industry, the question of how we can motivate employees from a wide variety of backgrounds and generations to realize their potential and perform at a high level day in and day out has arisen all the time» explains Urs Berger. «I am all the more convinced by impulzity’s approach, which enables individual digital learning and immediate implementation into action. This is an absolutely innovative and groundbreaking approach that I predict has a great future. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to support the company as a board member and investor.»

Learning AND Doing in a single App

As Senior Vice President of Group Finance, Hans De Vriese is a member of the leadership team of the logistics group A.P. Moller-Maersk, one of the world’s largest container shipping companies. He has extensive global experience in leadership, strategy, finance, M&A and governance in the logistics, automotive, and chemical industries.

«What particularly impresses me about impulzity is that the system itself is infinitely scalable and can be used globally in personnel development,» says Hans De Vriese. «For the first time, impulzity provides managers and employees with a completely practical tool that supports them in developing their soft skills on a daily basis.
